I found a love for long distance running at a young age. I ran track and field and cross country throughout high school until, injuries prevented me from being able to run without pain. It was at this time that I first started weight lifting. Once I started to gain strength and see the changes in my body I was hooked.
It wasn't until I started to work with a trainer myself that I began to correct the imbalances and weaknesses of my injuries. Since then I have been able to combine my strength with running to be a better, more well rounded athlete.
Through my experience, my focus is to help others live a more balanced lifestyle through a regular exercise regime, nutritional education and proper recovery. I am passionate about pursuing strength and performance in the basic barbell lifts for clients and myself. I believe that mastering the basics allows you to learn and execute advanced exercises more safely and effectively.
I am confident in designing an effective program that can achieve lasting results!
