I am 48 years old and I needed a change! I have not been in love with any gym since I moved to Oakville. I dabbled in running, yoga, tabata and my usual gym routine. My son, who has his personal training certification, couldn’t even motivate me. The amazing opportunity with Conker Fitness appeared on Facebook, and my son wrote in for me. I loved the environment it was the type of gym I prefer. I knew when I signed up for the challenge, it was not going to be easy. People, there is no “magic pill”. With the guidance of Alicia and Jeff, and they made me comfortable, I could tell them anything. And I did!! The meal plans are easy to follow, there is no gimmicks, or weight loss pills!! Just pure healthy foods and a lot of food prepping. Within my first week, my friends noticed my skin was glowing and more clear. I started getting my energy back, and no longer lived in a carb coma. I lost 6 lbs but more importantly, I dropped 1 dress size down! I still have not drank pop since March 5th that is pretty amazing, since that was my only weakness. This is just the beginning of bringing the stronger and healthier me! I can’t even begin to tell you how I loved the challenge classes, I was definitely intimidated by the other challengers and their strength. When I realized I just needed to focus on me, that’s when I loved it even more.

Going into this challenge, I was highly motivated, ready to change my bad eating habits and up for some challenging workouts but I really didn’t think it was possible to accomplish the results I received after only 6 weeks. Your knowledge and guidance about nutrition along the way with your ongoing support was not something I expected, but now realize what an important role it played in my achievement.
